Amidst an extraordinary legal battle, Jonathan Faiman’s lawyer, Raymond McKeeve, has been accused of contempt of court for instructing a computer technician to “burn” messages. These messages could have been used in evidence as part of a dispute in which Faiman is being sued for “conspiracy to misappropriate and misuse Ocado’s highly sensitive confidential information” for the benefit of Faiman's clients who are also Ocado's competitors.
“The facts of this case are truly extraordinary, perhaps unprecedented,” Ocado’s lawyer told a London High Court earlier in the week.
Bloomberg reached out to former business associates of Faiman in his failed energy venture, Neos. Off the record, they said nothing would surprise them when Faiman and business ethics collide.
