Thread regarding Kroger Co. layoffs

Expect to see a 15% reduction

I was in the know at GO until I retired. Cuts are coming at GO in 2020. 15% of the workforce. As I remember folks that got less than an average on their reviews will be looked at being eliminated.

For those happy about GO being thinned out - if you have a job at Kroger that could mean your about to be replaced to make room for some of them..

Poor employee experience in the stores is what's k–ling the company - It's almost as if they are trying to wreck it.. wasting money on superficial things like krojis - the educational benefits that only 2500 ppl are using.. Better employee pay and benefits is their ONLY hope to save these understaffed stores in this company with abysmal ratings for employee experiences.

People have been leaving G.O. quite steadily already. Waiting to see how they spin it when they gut headquarters in the new year! H.R. is going to be busy! Maybe the recruiters can start looking at local prisons to recruit from since anyone without a record will be steering clear of this train wreck!

Same things is going to happen to some ASM's. I'd guess before bonus pay outs.
