When I was RIFd I was in a bit of shock - I'd been paid the mid-year bonus and it was late in the summer. In retrospect, it was the best thing that could have happened to me. Severance package + all my unused vacation that rolled over from the point in time that TD went to 'unlimited' vacation (yah, right...). Found a new gig in 8 weeks, I'm using the severance for a kitchen reno and I've never been happier. Thanks TD. If you have marketable skills there is a ton of work out there.

I was one of the employees that got RIFed ....for me I actually cared about TD and really loved the company and to be honest I was impressed with their MPP architecture developed decades ago... I was not interested in their cloud roadmap but when your leadership does not have a direction we are the ultimate sacrifice ... I hope TD looks at what the company was able to do many years ago and ask we can do it again good luck TD

Keep taking the money for as long as you can with as little work as you can until they swirl down the drain.

About 3 out of 4 that I talk to inside teradata in the US feel that way. International it’s about 1 in 4 it seems.
