IMHO: The lay-off is coming.

The lay-off is coming. Everyone needs to be looking. Where is Kosta and his leadership gone? He is allowing his minions like Greg and Darren ruin this company and run in ground. Several big players leaving fossil because the leaders have no idea what to do and none of them are trusted or respected.

If Kosta would get back into the day and day operation and remove the ELT and Senior VPs who ruin this culture there will be a chance. But everyone we spoke to who have worked here for over 5 years agree the company is done. Your greed and your ignorance in leaders have caused this. More layoffs in 2019 and 2020 coming. Trust us.

Can anyone elaborate on the big layoff at 901 that is happening in the next few weeks? People keep saying it's big, but is there any other information?

It’s happening in Feb. and its big.

As a loyal Associate to this company and who knows the day to day of what our guest love, want and doesn’t like, this is extremely sad and embarrassing to read at 1am. This company has amazing potential to take over this market. Thousands of international guest travel the world to buy our watches and are loyal to this brand! We clearly are misguided and pushing towards blindness. I’ve learned 👂 listening to the guest and what they want and buy everyday is key! The company needs to realize we live in a market that we must Cather to the guest to service. For example hundreds of guest enter our store and leave without purchase not because the amazing customer service but because they simply don’t like the band but love the face. We promote interchangeable bands but yet stock the store with plenty to give guest to choose from! Last but not least just come up with a system to give the guest to interchange the band without having them to purchase a new one! If we ignore these minor changes it will creep up on us and for the looks of it it has begun, we can still become a game changer and do something others are not.

Change comes with humbleness and always accepting that change is good and most be done regardless we like it or not.

A CEO being too involved in the day to day is the problem not the solution. The company Kosta and Tom ran in 1990 doesn’t operate the same way in 2020 for good reason. A CEO should hire competent innovative leaders and trust them to have good judgement and expertise, not be micromanaging them. The top heavy organization and broad focus on trying to be too many things to a narrowing customer base is the problem. Back to basics will save the brand.

January 20th or 21st 2020 is my predication.

First Monday in January is my prediction

No one person at Fossil should be making more than 1 million a year salary.

So sad.

When does leadership take responsibility for the disaster they created?

I predict right after the Thanksgiving break.

I predict the first Monday, 1/6/2020-layoff will happen!
