She took the position knowing she would lay off a ton of people, be seen as a monster, receive a sweet 6-7 figure handshake on the way out the door, and be replaced by someone who would be hailed as the "Hero" of ADS. He'll come sweeping in and everyone will fawn at his feet. This is the fourth corporation I've worked for where this exact scenario has taken place.

Speaking of Judiciary Responsibility, how did Melissa Miller allow Deb Decker to over hire and have 4 years of layoffs in the Client Services department? That is mismanagement at its best with Deb's management style and Erick Carter allowing this massive overhiring in Deb's team and then layoff. Funny how Deb has had to lay off every fall. We all see the pattern and most of us left her area. Crazy that Alliance has allowed this to happen under Melissa & Deb's leadership. Looks like the ADS board figured it out.
Sounds to me like you are a job hopper anyway, so why dont you just move on to another company. You should also Google the term Judiciary Responsibility. Guess what, there are more people to consider than just you when the company makes decisions like this. They have a legal obligation to do what is best for stakeholders, not just employees. If you have actually worked for 4 large corporations, you should understand this already, but dont.
Oh, please. No one thinks this guy is a hero. We know how the company works. You're not the only one who has been around the block.
