This thread is for info about potential Teradata Layoffs 2020? Any news or rumors?

Teradata let a complete US support group of 8 employees go on 2/25/2020. Unsure if any other layoffs were completed with other groups.
They already let the BEST talent go. Woe to Teradata.
To keep the talent. TD has amazing talent (some individuals). Are negotiations actively ongoing?
OL has said recently that the best years for TD was in 2007 when it was 6-7k employees, so that's where it's headed. The majority of consulting is negative margin, it's a big problem when consulting is 50% of the employees.
Why would Oracle buy TD? Much easier to simply let TD implode and take the customers.
Look to the Oracle about the future, if you know what this means.
