Jacobs (BIAF) building, infrastructure, advance facilities UK is offering 500 VR (with potential for compulsory,) as there is a lack of secured work.
Jacobs (ATEN) aerospace, technology, environmental and nuclear UK will be undertaking similar exercise for Aug/Sept 2020, numbers unknown, but exercise is being undertaken.

Heard there were massive layoffs in the Jacobs Greenville Office yesterday due to lack of work, all departments. Praying for all the families affected. Bad time to be looking for work.

As long as the people getting laid off are CH staffers then it's okay.
Jacobs has a strong order book, so probably not likely within the two work streams:
1) Aerospace, Technology, Environmental and Nuclear (ATEN)
2) Buildings, Infrastructure and Advanced Facilities (BIAF)
However, looking at their annual statements highlights high reductions in staff levels, from 74,000 (mid 2018) to 52,000 (October 2019), but it just part of business to respond to current/projected workloads.
