Have you heard anything about potential Tiffany Layoffs 2020? Any news or rumors?

Yup, just happened.
My contacts in mall management expect most of the small market stores to close.
buckle up folks. All jobs are on the line. Tif has benefited from low interest rates, reduced fixed cost and a growing Asian and south central Asian economies. Stateside has been a dog, but little care was shown at the store or corp level. The products are the same junk, now a customer can buy things on time. I don't call that revolutionary retailing.
Too many store directors and soon. That will be the first wave. The HQ is crawling with do nothings. This company will now become a real business. This new ownership is true fiduciary anchored ownership. Anyone from the C-Suite all the way down to store managers looking to cook the sales numbers forward to get a bonus looking for a bonus will need to change attitude, outlook and performance.
The stock price demands a real growth outlook.
