Another victim of layoffs from Intrado Digital Media. At least they gave me two weeks notice and i still get my holiday paid too.

Our managers in Mobile had to submit nominations for 2 layoffs they were told june and september

You should be ready for anything including the end of each of the next two quarters. Business is down and sales are nothing. The COVID-19 has business depressed.

April 2, 2020 was another round. 3 in Mobile office. Whoever makes these decisions cannot understand who they are cuting.

School Messenger leadership needs to go. Look at how long they have been trying to decide who will be first to move over to IPM. Almost a year now. Can’t make a decision.

Crazy budget cuts coming. I’m getting out.

Engage dies end of March. Clientele shouldn’t be far behind. Televox is lacking any support or leadership so should cause customers to jump soon if they were smart. school messenger leaders down know what we do or understand our customers at all and dont care about us anyway.

The Mobile office is without doubt on the chopping block. Customers are being migrated to a platform that isn't designed to support the required features. The platforms at the company formerly know as TeleVox simply haven't been modernized and are being lapped by competitors. The project to modernize them was canceled by Apollo and the majority of that team was either fired or resigned. Support is being moved overseas. What's left of engineering and operations will be terminated. There is no leadership left in the building. The building is literally and figuratively falling apart.

If you still work for the company, get out.
This is just a big country club for all the owners and investors. The workers don't mean anything to them.

Confirmed quarterly layoffs from upper management in oma. Next wave of layoffs is anyone over a certain job tenure of years and dollar amount regardless of title or value. Don't believe a single word that comes out of that CEOs mouth.

Since they zerod out everyone's Vacation time (except in states that don't allow that) by 12/31, I would think they have set themselves up to reduce the expense associated with layoff's at the beginning of the year. If I am right, they will intensify them in the first quarter.

Man, I don't miss this stress. At all. So glad to be out of there and all the mystery surrounding keeping my job. Getting laid off by West last year was one of the best things that ever happened to me.

The Toronto office is lacking direction especially during the afternoon and evening hours. While management is top heavy during the morning hours, it's a different story at night. There are some very good editors at night especially new hires who come from journalism but for the most part the shift itself becomes a high school b–ch fest from editors who have been there for years but havent been promoted due to their poor work ethic.

I worked at West for many years. Saw many terminations and layoffs until my turn came. Saw a workforce of 170 dwindle to 60 and we were not allowed to hire new by Apollo. Future layoffs are inevitable in 2020 as I am certain the future of Intrado lies in the phillipines. That was the point of globalization. I doubt most offices will exist outside of the phillipines beyond 2020.

There are a few seniors and Operations managers in the El Segundo CA office that should be let go. They rarely work the minimal and when they do work, it is off their phones while shopping saying it is a Dr. Appt., than make excuses and blame budget cuts if they cannot hit goals and blame employees leaving. Most have been there over 10 yrs making a great salary and whine about benefit changes and lack of a great bonus. That office is like the laughable Hunger Games. They should cut those six figure Senior Directors first in my opinion first not those making less. Editorial gets the brunt of the entire BS there and works the hardest.

I saw they just outbid Berkshire Hathaway to buy some big-data deal. $5 billion? We feel your pain, big-data deal!

Of course there will be more layoffs. You don't think Apollo will just suddenly stop being greedy and terrible in 2020 do you?

The Kentucky office is the same way. Downsizing in support has already happened as well as sending those jobs to the Phillipines (with no proper training to those agents). Heard this from higher ups.

Televox/Housecalls is already showing signs of being on the path to getting chopped in 2020.

“The company must be in worse trouble than they are leading people to believe” sounds like you actually trust what is being said. Be aware employees have been told it’s ok one day and they were let go the next day.

Well considering that they just closed an office, I'd assume that there will be a small stall in layoffs. If history is an indicator, I'd expect the layoffs to start back up after February or March.

If they jump back on the layoff train before then, the company must be in worse trouble than they're leading people to believe.
