Agree with the last post. Tic, tic, tic. Feb may be quiet, but March could bring activity.
Lays offs are only halted Nov 26th through February 1st just to get through year end.
Whatever became of the "contribution made in our name" to the unidentified charity once ADP decided to no longer give the employees "holiday" gift certificates after those had replaced the traditional Thanksgiving turkey.
Receiving that email always made me chuckle as it reminded me of the Seinfeld episode regarding the Human Fund.
Question: "How is ADP about laying off people ahead of or during the holiday season?"
Answer: They are quite skilled at it! They have proven time and time again they will hurt anyone they choose in order for Carlos and his band of thieves to prosper a few dollars more. Don't worry about the layoffs - if you were wondering about a Christmas present from ADP, they are undoubtedly scheming to eliminate your position, and many will get the gift of unemployment this holiday season
This is how to lower wages and make the company more profitable to CR
2 years ago there was a round of layoffs. I remember it because the axe fell on the last of the work from home folks in our group the week before Thanksgiving. Layoffs know no holiday.
2018 they did layoffs around the holidays didn't they? I remember thinking how horrible
Yes, I also expect no layoffs until after January.
They need people who know what they are doing to get through year end so I would expect more layoffs end of January.
Oops... oh that’s right, the people that knew what they were doing have already been let go.
Good luck, clients! You’re going to need it!
