Do you think there will be Illionis Tool Works Layoffs 2020? Any news or rumors?

As a service tech for Hobart that is a ITW company,there was talk of layoffs,and then we had been given 20 slow work days so we don't have to use our vacation days.I don't understand this.
The possibility if layoffs throughout the company are currently a high possibility. With the high revenue goals set at the end of 2019 for 2020 and the effect of a misfiring global market. The interruption of production cause by the extended Chinese new year, and the Coronavirus fears causing a higher than normal lead times of electrical components, in junction with lean manufacturing with little reserves to ship. I am expecting an offering of early retirements, and lay offs of low seniority, low performance employees.
