And I didn't see it on the latest closure list. I was in the Buena Park store trying to use a gift card, and this store is on the closure list. When you try to use it, the system spits out a message saying that the card type is invalid. Manager confirmed that the system no longer accepts gift cards because the store is closing. The Burbank computer is giving out the same message, which tells me the reaper is on his way soon(er than expected).

Aren't liquidation sales starting dec 2 is that even legal to not allow gift card use before the liquidation company has taken over
No, this was not a pre-2018 gift card and I wound up using it online.
Eddie is vendors' worst nightmare. Word gets around quick not to do business with him.
Was this a gift card from pre-2018? Those need to be converted into a fresh gift card; they were invalidated and won't work at any store (or online).
Could a company be any more greedy and cheap
Keep using up those gift cards while you can. I hope they're not still being sold ??? Or that anyone would buy one?
Not surprising. Again, they are just waiting for the right timing for the new round of closures to happen. Just a matter of time.
My last post was slightly unclear. Just to clarify: the manager of the Buena Park store confirmed that they are not accepting gift cards because they are closing. The Burbank store didn't know what was going on, and I successfully used a gift card there a couple of days before they announced the new round of closures, so something changed since then.
