No much of a common denominator when being selected as a candidate for layoff. I was a great performer but when Centene came into town that no longer mattered. No real logic connecting between performance and getting let go. Bottom line is if your are a Centene cheerleader you will most likely keep your job. Key is to kiss a– and never state your real opinion or you will be deemed as an undesirable. Health Net used to be a great place to work but not anymore… The St. Louis airheads put an end to that.

Well.. as of this week more layoffs at Health Net/Centene/Trillium. I worked there for many years, and a coworker for more than 10. But they let us go and kept a new hire who isn't even out of training yet. Go figure. Most of the layoffs were over age 50, higher paid then the new hires, and actually had opinions. And of course middle management got hit the hardest. Considering that in the department that I worked in there is only 1 worker left doing my job, doesn't sound good. They took a great place to work and simply destroyed it.
