You’d think anyone with half a brain would realize you can’t force the best employees out the door and then expect the company to function a peak performance. Schlifske and the board clearly don’t understand the importance intellectual capital within the company

In 2017 almost the entire change management process team was turned over to an offshore contract company. To make matters worse, part of the severance agreement was that the NM employee had to help train and provide knowledge transfer to the contractor. This is the same BS Mass Mutual did.
You think that is bad try calling for tech support from the help desk. What a bunch of mo–ns. Several techs have said how bad management is there and all the turnover and budget problems they are having. When I asked about the long hold times one of them said that hardly anyone even comes into work or the office anymore including their managers. That helps to explain all the tech issues.
When the layoffs first started in 2017, I recall an IT issue involving a system called EDAS (I think) later in 2017. I'm not sure if the support was offshored, but the 2 people who were supporting it were laid off. Because no one could figure out how to fix the issue, a communication went out asking who had EDAS experience. They finally found someone working in IRM who had some experience.
I do expect top performance since the reasoning for letting so many 'old' people go at NM was that their skill set was no longer applicable to the tech hub and digital god they are trying to launch. Time to let ALL of the leaders and board go that made those decisions.
