Questions at the end of the UHC Wide Townhall confirmed that additional changes are coming and will target support functions. It is clear that this company has lot of disengaged employees. Heard the goal is to reduce overall workforce by a total of 5%

Money. Thats not what they said when they were boasting about their quarterly profits when they had their recorded phone call. U all know they are being sued right and left. They lost several huge lawsuits. One for behavioral health. Cost 200 million. They lost another one for 400 million in New York for bad faith decisions. 3 billion for the medicare risk adjustment and greivances. The list goes on and on. Class action lawsuits for misclassifying salaried employees. I surprise the shareholders aren't embarassed. Why do you think ceo been retiring.

I know a lot of people are scared/stressed, as am I. I'm just riding this out, showing up and doing what's expected of me. If it happens, something else will come along, it always does. Opportunities are everywhere. And who knows, it might lead me to something bigger and better. I've had a lot of opportunities here at United Health and am thankful for the career and skills they've given me.

We’ve already been warned that there will be no bonus pool this year

We’ll probably hear that there’s not enough money for bonuses at the end of the year like they did last year. Funny how they can find the money to bonus the execs to add to their 6+ figure salaries. You can pour a lot into this company but at the end of the day, you’re a disposable number.
