I, too, got the axe in Phoenix after 10 straight years (17 total). Let’s be real... we live in a “ what have you done for me lately”, prove your worth, take control of your career corporate world.
It’s still sad..... I know too many really good people that got cut.
Lots of local talent will be gobbled up by the competition....

LMFAO, why wouldn't it be "what have you done for me lately" world? If you think this type of corporate thinking isn't right, then you are much too entitled. If I owned a company and a newer employee was more productive in the same position than someone who had been there for years, when the cut decision time came, it would make for an easy choice! If you don't agree with that thinking, then don't put your self in a position where your performance is in question!
