Too many rumors on this site...so much never pans out...I'll believe it when I see it.
Contract will be finalized this week. A 2-day turn around on an SVSP offer will be made prior to signing. They want 600 gone. Why so quickly you ask? ......there is a potential buyer (our 5th company in the last 25yrs in CT) waiting in the winds....Charter Comm. or Crown Castle...hmmm no one knows, but big changes to come I'm sure. Better check the Department of Labor guidelines about strikes.
Union would be wise to call a unfair labor practice strike if it is going to strike.
Right now, Frontier is so on the ropes and nearly out of the ring they should hope

Yup, stupid is what I said. FTR would have to train everyone. They will never have the $ or resources to do so. Think of the programs/apps the company uses. Go ahead and train people off the street how to locate cable faults and use a tdr and sidekick. Most experienced telecom techs are happy where they are, which isnt FTR. Also, FTR wouldnt pay nearly as much to the contractors. Yes, stupid
Frontier doesnt have the time and money to waste time and money on finding vendors/contractors. Dont be stupid lol. If you are mgmt you shouldnt even be here.
Strike or don’t strike. Doesn’t matter. FTR will eliminate all union contracts when they see fit.
You strike and they will replace you with vendors. No sweat off their backs.

Can’t wait, gonna strike and not get paid. But my union leaders will keep on raking in the dough and then ask for back dues.
