It's a skeleton crew already. Was a 30% reduction a month and a half ago. If this is true, it must be either divisional or format specific. Kmart or apparel, but those have already been pounded.

All full-line stores will close. As for Eddie's desire for smaller format stores it may be delayed due to a lawsuit by Sears Hometown and Outlet investors. Everything is going to backfire on Eddie.

I currently work in Hoffman and I haven't heard anything about layoffs. I suppose it could happen but I have noticed a large decrease in folks in the terrace cafe at lunch time the last few months. Yes, I know a lot of folks work from home but there was a couple of large layoffs last month. I have heard managers complain about being short staffed and they can't get the work done that is expected... I am guessing less than 1,000 people left here at corporate, maybe in the 800 to 900 range. I would not be surprised to see Aramark close down the cafe at this rate, esp if another layoff hits this month.
