Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

Everyone Looking/ using this site as a resource regarding the state of the business:

This site can be a very useful/ important tool. Please don't post scare tactics and rumors with out full knowing that what you are posting has actual evidence behind your post. People don't want to see things that cause stress that we don't need to have, there is enough of that to go around and we don't need anymore of it. We need to stick together and keep each other informed so we are prepared for the worst and to get a jump on things if the occasion ever arises.

It is everyone's responsibility to be prepared. Boeing luckily offers tons of help in regards to school, resume services, etc. USE THEM! Try not to be a victim because you do not have to be. We can talk smack all day but in all reality, there is not another place around that pays us this well for doing honestly not a lot of work and that is real talk even though we don't like to admit it.

Be strong, be prepared but most importantly, be positive and smart.

"There is not another place around that pays us this well for doing honestly not a lot of work"
Many of us I'm sure, resent that comment. Who knows where that came from, HR?

Our group works it's tail off each and every day and all the other groups we work with do so as well.
The commentator does not speak for all of us who work at Renton. - Key Word, Work.
Does The commentator work with the factory, can this commentator open CMES and pull data.
Can this commentator find the correct line number and the associated effectivity to match the part or sub assembly needed.
Stay in your lane

The State of Business:

The Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating whether Boeing
gave shareholders sufficient information about problems with its 737 Max
As reported by Bloomberg.

The SEC is also reportedly examining financial documents from Boeing to determine whether it properly accounted for the potential impact of issues associated with the 737 Max.

The SEC and Boeing declined to comment. May 24, 2019
Boeing is also facing SEC Probes of the Dreamliner and in the 747 Accounting.
The SEC has rejected FOIA requests sighting ongoing investigations.
Matter No LA-04678-A as an example
No one claimed the stock market or the government is honest.
And once again, “Boeing Greed” seems to be a factor in their problems.
Now Our Problems.

  1. 56% of Boeing stock is held by institutions

There are 2,456 Institutions holding shares as an example, the Vanguard Group

When the Institutional Investors move to take their Gains
And limit their risk in 2020 what options will Boeing have then?
The stock is up 300% in four years, this year is a good year to sell.
With the MAX returning to service at best by the end of March 2020
This is taking into account the 60 days needed after the possible re-certification.

Institutional Investors have a fiduciary obligation to protect their clients.
The Market is up today but Boeing is down
Be Positive, Be Smart; Sell
