Whose negativity? Customers or workers? Workers were aimed for by the company itself with no interest to retain anyone, to the point 90% are gone or were given the gift of part time or 0 hours with no care for families or anything but the company itself. Pay isnt even competitive in the first place. Benefits are so atrocious a family plan will take your whole months check. Thats not exaggerating.

Or customers coming in expecting the most basic thing only to be amazed that on their list if five items to get they might find one. Waste of a trip and hardly any employees, if any are actually available, to ask questions or get help from. Oh and then if you buy something you might be standing in the returns line for 15 minutes or more before someone gets to you.

But yea they are still around losing money because sales are much, much < overhead. Didnt change their tactics either from the last millions-dollar losing quarter to the next. Oh wait yes they did, they snagged a fee no name vendors to give pitiful stock and lost a couple very popular ones. Bose anyone?

Randy and John Fry are indeed still around. I like to look up to them when I wonder how to tank a business so bad. Losing millions each month isnt successful just a heads up.

This could be considered negative if everything stated wasn't actual facts. Unfortunately it is, so this is simply sarcasm.

Lol Fry's let this happen. They have been stringing people along for months now with the same b—s— story of more stock coming. They cut associate wages and hours thus creating a negative environment. Whatever the outcome, they made it happen. Good luck to the people left because that is one of the only things Fry's has going for it. The people. Whatever few are still left.

Whose being negative? I think everything on here is first-hand observation or level-headed criticism.

Good karma isn't going to keep them open or stock their shelves...

Well, the negativity in performance affects those still directly employed or owed outstanding debt, so there's that.

But you are certainly right in the sense that Fry's Electronics has survived much longer than other electronics retailers like Circuit City, CompUSA, Incredible Universe, and The Good Guys just to name a few.

People that care are negative about Fry's spinning down because of nostalgia and it being yet one less place to drop by to shop in person. Sometimes you just need something same day. It also seems like a place that suffers from sh– management.

Who the heck wants to willingly give Jeff Bezos more money to fund creepy military and surveillance work for authoritarian governments anyway? So the feelings are understandable to some extent.
