Heard from a senior guy. More layoffs at GED coming this week. Apparently they don't have pipeline of customers.

Are there still GED in Charlottesville
Any further information on which teams were impacted?
The GED Customer Success organization geared up to support the four main verticals but then Transportation, O&G, and Healthcare pulled out. Now the team is very top heavy with many redundant rolls some with little assignments - GED Customer Success was impacted yesterday, about 12 remote tech-touch employees, one senior manager and one VP let go.
Alpharetta was impacted SRE engineers were hit they were also told the Data Center will be in Dallas Tx by the end of the year they will be closing the Alpharetta office soon.
People were hit outside of San Ramone - the Roanoke office (formerly Meridium) lost some heads and many of the employees are remote workers.
Which teams got impacted?
It has definitely started!
It's happening, the GED folks are being informed today
The timing is right for hr. I imagine the bulk of people will get 2 months more of employment be GE and then everyone can be off the books by end of year.
I heard it's been going on since this morning. Looks like Predix is gone. Or will be soon. Slowly but surely.
Look forward please.
It’s happening today.
Nothing
Defiantly happening. Executives announced last week. Today the rank and file will be notified.

Sure it was. So now that the power is restored pink slips are on their way?
I heard the layoff notices couldn't be sent today because of the PG&E outage.
@11sEwhbY-zla , I do think more layoffs are coming end of year, but I agree that we got some trolls who don't really have an idea if/when
