It's the company and the union that don't give a fak about the workers. Both of them are just a guilty as the other for the way they treat the workers. Wouldn't doubt that company moles get on here to stir sh– up too. This is a sad time knowing that the workers are being screwed by bith sides.

You are the Union’s product. You are how they make money. They only care about the dues you oay and will give the very minimal effort it takes to earn your dues. They dont care about you, they care about your dues. Your local steward may care and make an effort, but to the leadership and executives of the union....you are simply revenue
Why no communication from them anymore? Easy.... they know we are all screwed but still need our dues flowin in till mgmt finally pulls the plug.
I know what my local does for ME.....
they keep me in the dark as to this company’s ability to stay afloat and ‘help’ me stay employed.

This is getting out of hand. You need to be more concerned with what the Union does for YOU! Don’t worry about the salaries of the People in the Union Hall. Remember, we fight for the worker!!!

Run for office and get elected hahahahaha, that only works if you're part of the good ole boy system. Seen others run for those positions only to be black balled by the group that supports their buddy. Those people that got black balled are the ones that spilled the beans on what really happens at the union hall.
Quit paying dues, wish it was that easy. What is it only one time a year for 2 week period that you can submit your paper to get out of the union!!
The union and company are much like Washington DC, theyre all buddies behind the curtains but represent both side so they can make money off of them.
You people are grossly misinformed. When you say "union reps" make $100k a year, are you speaking about the stewards? I am a steward for CWA in California, the only thing I get from the union is repayment for lost time wages when I'm working for the local, and a bi-monthly stipend of about $100.00. If you're speaking about the Pres, V.P., etc. they don't make nearly that elusive $100k, so please substantiate that claim. You people talk so poorly about the union, when is the last time you participated in the union? You want all the protections the union has built up for us and still provides today, but you don't want any of the effort, and certainly none of the cost. Having union representation is something our predecessors fought long and hard for, to hear how you all talk today is insulting to their memories. Take some pride in your union, if you don't like how it's being run....then run for office and change things. It's that simple.

Physical confrontation...oh that’s assuring. My union protects people who should have lost their jobs long ago because their useless and can’t do their jobs. how about you fight for the right things for us and not for the people holding us back. If someone isn’t doing their job...get rid of them and make it easier for the rest of us by getting people in there that actually work.
The Union is the only reason that you people have high paying jobs with a retirement and excellent healthcare. We battle management constantly and it has even escalated to a physical confrontation on more than one occasion. We don’t this all for our brothers and sisters of the Union. We need everyone to pay their dues though. Without the dues, we are defenseless. IBEW is your Union so please keep paying your dues!!
you guys are correct I used to go to the union meetings to be informed all the union meetings are it reminds me of a scene off of Fred Flintstone with Barney and Fred with their bison hats on all they do is Pat each other on the back and tell each other how great they are clapping like a bunch of children the union is a joke you are right CWA is stronger than Ibew Ibew is worthless hope we all can hang on to this roller coaster ride and survive

Frontier is going to eliminate every union job. Period. Danny Boy has all but said so. The writing is on the wall. There is nothing anyone can do about it but be prepared and have a plan for your next step in life. When your contract is up they will not negotiate a new one (Florida). They will bleed off as many employees as possible before eliminating your job (Florida) when the time is right for them. Frontier wants an army of vendors and low-skilled $13 to $15 per hour workers across its footprint. Once the bugs and kinks are worked out of the HUB systems they will send you packing. Why do you think that management is forcing you to use this inefficient system right now? You are the guinea pig to fix it so that the cheap workers can take over your job. And don’t think for one minute that they need you to fix all the screw ups from the vendors because they don’t care one bit about customer service. They tell call center reps to purposely manipulate the customer service survey scores to make that number look good for the VPs. FCC violation anyone? Yeah probably one of dozens. These weak and lazy do nothing unions have no chance to save your job. All they have done over the years is bargain off the things that mattered for tiny little 2% raises that never even make up for the things they gave away back to the company and lost for you. Your job is all but over it’s just that most people don’t want to admit reality and have their heads buried in the sand.
Um no we dont. There is different cost of livings in different areas. So if you think negotiations are long now. Each state has a different cost of living and should be paid accordingly. You do not your union. You have the power to change that.
CWA would be the Union of choice. We are getting destroyed because we are small. Join together and stand up to this company. We need to get back what we’ve lost and force this company to reinvest in the infrastructure. If not we will loose everything.

Yes! This! More unions that let contracts expire and can’t even negotiate a new one! More unions that give away the farm with each new contract! Twenty-one cent pay raises! Hundreds more per month out of take home pay in lost benefits! Frozen pensions! Lost holidays! No sick time to visit your doctor or go to the dentist! Work every other Saturday (why do we have vendors?) if the company tells you! Let the the company jerk you around and change your shift every month! Yes! More please! Sign us all up!
