As a long time Kroger employee I find this current move by Kroger heartbreaking. So many people are losing their livelihood. This started at the top and has rolled downhill. I think it's time for the Board of Directors to make Rodney Mcmullen step down. He clearly doesn't have the company or it's associates best interests at heart. Clean out Cincinnati offices and some of it's high paid personnel. Let's don't forget Mcmullen's henchmen who have ruthlessly carried out the orders that have been passed down!
Then, let's put the money back into our associates giving them a decent, liveable wage! Have a knowledgeable, friendly workforce at store levels! Have Department Heads that know their jobs. Order product and fill the shelves! That is what customers want! Quit trying to complicate a simple business! Maybe I am an idealist but I truly believe people will be loyal if they see some loyalty and caring directed towards them! "Uplifting" people is nice but it doesn't pay the rent or feed a family.
Folks, it's time to get back to the basics! We need someone at the top who realizes that!
Prayers to all families affected by the current situation.

Can we speed up the firing of Rodney McMullen? As a shareholder, the board of directors needs to step up and take care of this. Rodney is lost. He wants to make everyone believe he knows what he is doing, but the results continue to show otherwise.
Glad to see Kroger has so much faith in their own plan that they keep hiring ex Walmart execs to give them advice.
The board of directors is made up from a bunch of a– clowns. They don't care that this company tanks. Two of them tanked their own companies.
