The meetings between the Fry's corporate representatives; not sure if these people are third party to do the dirty work; are being held in a local hotel this Monday-Thursday, October 7-11. Each store manager and all assistant store managers have sit down meetings scheduled whether they are being fired or asked to stay. Corporate may be asking managers to take a step down in position, at less pay, to at least keep a job or just terminate them. Long time managers near retirement should be the first to go. Elimination of coordinator positions are on the menu and they will be recast into store management positions. Manager and assistant manager under performers will be asked to leave if their most recent performance review score is sub par.
Company president, Monica Barnes, will come under fire when, in reality, these layoffs are mandated by Kroger general offices.
When Dave Dillon retired as CEO of Kroger and Rodney McMullen took over the whole corporation took a downward turn. Don't understand what the shareholders see in this guy.
