Fry's Burbank only had 1 WD purple drive in stock. It's an open box. There are no other internal HDs there. Sad to see that there are more bags of briquettes, p–n diskks, and perfume than basic computer parts.
When the online "store" shows only a pre-opened item for sale (white sticker of death), they're sc-aping the bottom of the barrel. It also means the supplier is unable or unwilling to take it back.
