So what happened to "feed the human spirit" and "purpose and promise?" We spent all this money on those programs less than 2 years ago, had these big expensive hype meeting just to tell us to be nice to one another, say everything in a caring, friendly, and uplifting way. That our leaders would be green leaders not red. That the ones promoted would be the ones that were good with people and were leaders not managers. That we should coach by telling uplift stories. Our people are great? It was suppose to be our corporate strategy. In fact, we were told it was more important than business results. HA.
Well I got a story for you. Thousands of our "great people" were just called in and fired. Many others had their jobs eliminated and were reassigned to positions without their input. I dont think they walked away feeling like their human spirit was just fed.
Lets stop pretending that the company gives a damn about the people who actually make it profitable. Dont create a new bs program, dont take another survey (survey says... you s—), don't have another "great people week" we all know you really dont care about us.
