Kroger USED to be a great company to work for. USED to being the key words. They are so god damn corrupt in the stores. They fired 20 employees including myself. Some of us who have put blood sweat and tears into this place. And it was all based off of lies and blatant favoritism. Anyone who loses their job here youre better off somewhere else.

With everything that's happening in the economy and doing business in a shady way by just firing people without proper notification is inhumane . it should be done more respectfully peoples lives depend on their jobs to provide for themselves and family . It is really hard to find jobs now days. Give the ones who been there 20 plus years a chance to retire or the option of staying on with a non -managerial position . Such a large company but no respect or sympathy nor empathy for your employees . A business should run on shadiness...
Sadly enough, us hourly employees have been treated like c-ap for years. So we know.
I am in aw of how low the company has gone this time. Real garbage way to treat people who made them what they are.
Mo one knows if they will have a job tomorrow. Treated like c-ap and then they want us to bost how great they are.
