Kroger at one time was great, department managers and store managers did what they were paid to do. They managed and made decisions made money after all that’s why companies are in business for. Today we run around doing check lists and get nothing accomplished- complete waste of time. The best way to increase business is to have the hours and coverage to handle the customer flow. You need to have the best fast service, this has gone to the waistside. If you are young get out and go get a real job. Kroger is not the place for work today.

I agree 100%. I have been with Kroger for almost 32 years. I’m Head Produce Or Produce Lead as we are now called. I have seen many changes over my years with the company but nothing like the way it is now. Our customers are no longer our primary focus, although they are the only reason we are still in business. Paperwork and Shareholders are now top priority and that’s a sad commentary for a business that was once all about customer relations.
