Here at Halliburton we might be late getting products out, we might lag behind our competitors in innovation, we surely like to treat our employees as expendable, we like to empower people who don't have clue what's going on, and we absolutely love the buddy system and nepotism, BUT HEY BY GOLLY WE'RE SAFE!
We also like to pay managers big bucks to spend half their time walking around like a safety patrols. It's great work if you can get it!

I think the whole ultra safety c-ap started at DMC. Safety is good until you hit the level that that place put it at. Safety becomes counter productive and such a burden that nobody wants to work there anymore. Time to just shut the place down.
Yeah, let's spend a half day in Flex Team meetings several times a week instead of actually producing a product!
That is absolutely correct these days. I remember when some mo–nic mis-manager decided that Halliburton should strive to be number 2 or 3 in the business and was proud to put that c-ap thought out for everyone to read. Apparently the embicile had no idea we were already number one and had been for decades. Probably because we had the best people and taught them everything.
