Thread regarding UnitedHealth Group Inc. layoffs

Your loyalty does not matter

The layoffs for October, November & March have been in play for at least 4 weeks. Some folks were told that they were being let go ahead of time but it sounds like some managers were not forthcoming. The move to send technical jobs offshore is about their bottom line and you are foolish to think you’re individual contributions or loyalty matters.

I currently work as a Care Navigator for DSNP in Georgia, and our team hasn't been let go (yet). I haven't heard anything about DC, PA, or DE. With that said, things have been a little iffy with the hiring freezes and people leaving.

Do you have details about the DSNP Navigator team? Is this the MR team, and has this already occured or the 2 week notice has been given already? I've been curious about the delays in announcing 2020 ramp plans.

I am in support and they are doing training classes for our replacements. I want to hang up on them. They are not replacing the employees they are letting go in the USA, but giving jobs to the offshore companies. They are asking the support staff to take VTO to save money, It is so stressful everyday because we don't have enough employees on the phones. All of us are so burnt out. We probably have until November or March before all us are laid off. So much for Cyber Security protection. They are giving all the data to other countries including Medicare and Tricare data. I cannot believe the govt has not stepped in to at least protect Medicare and Tricare. We have lost the country people. All of our personal data, system data, banking information has now been sent to other countries. An Indian company stole 100 million dollars from the World Bank a few years back. They were a bogus company. Other Indian companies have been bogus also in data breaches. I will not be using UHC in 2020. My data means too much to me plus I don't support a company that doesn't support Americans.

Our entire DSNP NAVIGATOR team nationwide was let go. With only 2weeks notice and no one is getting transferred to other departments
