This is what I heard in my store - they will be cutting Dept. Managers and there will be no 45 guaranteed hours a week (will be pushing to provide 32 hours, still full time but cut down on expenses)...

Why do you doubt? Corporate has already cut hours in stores so you don't have enough people to do the work required. Now, their cutting management. In our store we actually have some managers who work their butts off. They are doing the jobs hourly employees should be doing because there aren't enough bodies because of corporate cutting associate hours. Now, we're not going to have those managers to help out. Stores with leaks in roofs that aren't getting fixed, broken equipment put on HUB not getting fixed, a warehouse that stacks dangerous pallets on trucks that collapse & destroy products. What do they say when you complain about the trucks...take a picture and send it in. We've been taking pictures for years and it isn't fixed. Some reporter could get a really good story by going undercover in some of these stores.
32 is not full time. FT is a minimum of 35 per week. I really doubt they'll do that though.
