My brother just got laid off from infor. F— the Koch brothers.
Infor is cutting £50 million in salary from what I heard
Now maybe they can hire some people to actually support their software. Getting anything fixed is like pulling teeth and clients are beginning to wish they had never bought Infor Lawson. Very sad for a once great company. They only care about money not their clients.
Also from Infor CRM team in scottsdale, AZ, many people out.
I heard another round is coming November 1 around 500 FTEs
This makes sense. They made top level executive changes a few months ago - and now this trickles down through the organization. New C level players want to show margin improvements and the fastest way is through headcount reduction.
Infor has been playing the "we are going public" statement since I started in sales 15 years ago. With the MFG index having its largest drop in 10 years, this may be a bigger red flag than people are giving it credit for.
All the retail group laid off means?? No product at all?
Anyone know how many days it will be continued?
Is India affected?
There was plenty of layoffs in development as well. I don't know the exact numbers, but given the fact that the job of notifying those being laid off was delegated to the impacted department heads and immediate managers because HR didn't have enough people to handle it themselves, tells me the layoffs were quite extensive.
Massive = 3%... mainly in Education and Sales... not Services
Hundreds and the retail group mostly and up to senior management. Brutal
Infor laid off all the retail group in Austin TX yesterday, 31 people.
How big was the layoff exactly? I’m looking online for information and can’t find it... yet
Mostly North America, but it impact other areas as well. H1B employees were hit the hardest.
Are employee in only North America effected or all?
Thank for the heads up....
