Does anyone have the list for the sears stores closing for October 2019 and are there any store particular in NY-NJ that are closing

There is no damn closing list. The only 1 was announced in September. Nothing more for now. It was just clickbait.
Go to the website. Search jobs. Are any regular non seasonal jobs still posted (this will get slightly less reliable with the hiring event because depending on where you are college kids will take the temp jobs).
Go to the website. Search Christmas, Holiday etc. Is there holiday merchandise in the particular store store already, particularly Christmas?
If yes to both you may have a few months. Plan accordingly.
Can’t really use is the store empty/full as an indicator unless you know the foot traffic one store here is actually fairly busy, you go in one day it’s stocked, then it’s empty, then it’s stocked, just doesn’t get enough for the demand.
A better indicator is what exactly is being sent in. If big ticket stuff is coming from other stores that means they’re keeping it away from liquidators. If you’re boxing up old junk to send to another store that means they’re giving the liquidators junk.
If all criteria fall into place you may be OK through December giving 3 months to look for jobs unless you stick out the liquidation or see some indicator they’re going to keep your store around a little while longer by downsizing it.
