Some of the decorations are up, but fewer than usual. Could it be that they cut back a little bit? Or maybe they just haven’t finished yet.

Right, last year DH might as well as said "we were going to cut the christmas bonus, but LN swooped in and said no, even if he has to pay for it himself. Thus the founders bonus program.."
They've got the balls (literally) so they'll do it. But not before they ruin a few Christmases for Devon employees.
LN will make sure the bonus is still done as well.
As long as LN is still showing up for work, then the ornaments will be there. That I promise you.
