Thread regarding Kroger Co. layoffs

Get rid

The first thing they should look at is how bad there turn over is. It is because of upper management who doesn't care about there employees, or there family life. They expect way to much from one person which is unfair. To many managers, not enough leaders. I worked for Smith's for 10 years, I left because of awful store directors. They always keep the ones who have family connections and who only care about the company and not the people. Sad

My son was in management and left the company because of how his managers treated employees. He stated he didn’t want to be known as a bully. Kroger needs to think more about these people who are helping make the almighty dollar. These people have families who should come first. This company has gotten greedier and greedier through the years!!

I recently left as well becauae of the way I was being treated. I was told that the company came first over family, school or anything else. I also wasnt going to be given time off to go to funeral of a family member. Sorry but family comes first for me.

This is so true. I left for the very same reason. It was always about who you knew, not how hard you actually worked. I rarely even shop there anymore. And that’s sad.
