Work isn't slow in Western Wyoming. Jonah energy has 5 rigs rolling in the Jonah field. The completions are just being done by other service companies. I.e. Schlumberger, tops well services
Well, it's been announced, but no details on Rock Springs yet.
Rumor has it RS camp will be turned into a shell of a camp with very few people. Who knows for how long. Starting the cuts first of next week.
All roads lead to the Bakken or Permian. It's been a good run, but Western WY is done til gas prices come up, if ever.
Yes, heard this also from reliable manager in Denver office. Layoffs happening this week in Rock Springs.
This is going to hurt the Rock Springs economy pretty bad.
All CH work has been given to Fort Luptin. I suspect the transfers or layoffs will start next week. We have seen this coming for a while and I want to wish you all well. (GBM)
WP is done. Clean job board.
Heard Halliburton is going bankrupt.
Ultra Resources has stopped drilling. Cement & Frac work gone.
Word on the street is all of WY is going to be closed
junction, vernal, farmington as well.
Will the entire office close up as well, or do you know? I have heard that it is, but I have also heard they still have 2-3 years on their lease on Blairtown location. Thanks.
Wireline for sure. Open hole will be finished this week. Case hole guys maybe another month or two. Cement was ramping down too. But it's anyone's guess.
