It seems obvious to me, that Carlos needs to trim the VP and SVP ranks by at least a half. That would save on higher wage, pensioned employees, that really are offering no value. How about it Carlos? Fix the real fat.

Why is Carlos Rodriguez still in charge???????????????????
Yes, I noticed the same thing - deleted posts when it is 100% truthful but maybe sheds bad light on upper management.
I thought this site was supposed to add some level of open discourse; however, it has become clear that they are cherry picking certain posts to edit/remove if it seems to be too close to the truth for someone up the ladder. Lame!
Internally build technology has been a complete failure . .low utilization . . .broke the business.Yet, we keep confiding in these failed technology VPs to run Nextgen. products. How can this strategy continue? It needs to be totally revamped .
I SO agree! Way too many VP's and 80% are not even needed! They are like bank VP's - a title for "attempted" respect but falls short because of the person most of the time. ADP has perfected the ineffective VP role! Layoffs for VP's are really what is needed!
I am sure she likely deserved to go, but the VP termination list should be much longer. Sales has issues and IT is a complete joke now. We need new leadership. The layoffs for many are unwarranted but likely to continue from what I am hearing internally.
I believe it was the DVP of the TS South Division. They merged her Division into the remaining ones.
I guess I missed that, which division and DVP?
They got rid of one whole TS Division and DVP, but they could get rid of more. Too many leaders.
Where are the VP layoffs in TotalSource? Talk about some wasteful spending!
Have there been any recent VP layoffs with the latest 500 layoffs and 500 furloughs?
Hey Carlos - are you getting this? Time to cut these two money draining non contributors loose!
Back to the topic of Debbie Dyson and Jimmy Adams... how are either of these fakers still at ADP?
Whole heartedly agree it's time to eliminate the real fat - the executives and SVP's!
As a few folks mentioned already... I suggest Debbie Dyson and Jimmy Adams be terminated too!
Any update on more VP and SVP reductions?
The VP and SVP ranks at ADP are a complete joke now. I can't say there is a single one I have any respect for now. Most are completely unqualified for the roles but somehow got moved into them by friends from prior companies. And I agree with the other posts - it is time to eliminate Debbie Dyson and Jimmy Adams. And I can list a bunch more.
@11l8bhX1-bjvz- I put my betting money on some of the leaders being really surprised on how fast the tides are turning for BETTER for those let go. Some are far better outside of the ADP system than when they were within it. Wishing all the leaders well.
No doubt Debbie Dyson and Jimmy Adams are two TERRIBLE examples of leaders who are complete fakes and liars with no real skills to speak of other than lies and intimidation! They should have been the first to go in all the layoffs! But then again, not a single thing that Carlos does make any common sense or is actually good for the company!
What is the word with inside sales?
I agree with you 100%! I couldn't have picked two more people besides Debbie Dyson and Jimmy Adams who are complete phonies and need the boot if I spent a year searching!
I nominate Debbie Dyson and Jimmy Adams for lay off!
These folks are terrible, unethical people in leadership positions they have no position being in.
@11l8bhX1-avhq: You may well try and convince me to change my mind, but given the extremely low character of most of those people, it will never happen. Every single person laid off, pushed out, stepped on, and abused with the current state of things also has families. They HAVE been affected, not just have member in a VP or SVP role who have no morals and are facilitating the harm. So no, I truly don't care about the VP's or SVP's or higher for that matter. The majority of folks who have been pushed out because they were making too much money were not making SVP salaries. They are left at a point in their life which could be hugely devastating, more-so than the higher levels who are being paid much more. Regardless, ADP needs to eliminate the VP and SVP ranks. Most of them are pensioned, and all are making too much money. Truth is, ADP's plan is also taking out anyone who is highly skilled that has abilities or capabilities to make the current leadership look back or expose they are fakes. No, the VP and SVP ranks today need eliminating!
As far as your statement that the only difference between a VP/SVP and someone who didn't make it that far is how well they succeeded in their career is complete rubbish. I know many many people who were far more deserving, capable, and proven than a lot of the VP's. Many of the VP's are put in those roles solely because of a buddy or friend in a position of influence, don't kid yourself. Now, if your definition means that, then sure.
Bottom line, it sounds awfully hypocritical to say: "have compassion for the VP's and SVP's because they have families and they are just doing their job, but never mind the families of those people being pushed out in mass at their hands while they were doing their job."
The only difference between a VP/SVP and someone who didn't make it that far is how well they succeeded in their career. One of the previous posters was right that there isn't a lot of job security at that level which is why they earn more. They are people with families and responsibilities like everyone else. They don't control the direction of the company. They simply are responsible for making that direction happen. I was one, and decided I didn't like the direction and chose to leave ADP knowing I'd not be able to change the direction they decided on and didn't want to be part of the process. Not all of them can do that, and at the end of the day, they are all just doing their job. Give them some slack. They are people just like you.
I for one hope every single VP and SVP are scared fro their jobs, and they all get the shown the door! They are the enablers of this grand scheme. They should have grown a pair, looked at themselves in the mirror, and stood up for what is right. They were put in leadership positions to do the right thing and lead, not just be brown nosing kiss ups. Yeah, perhaps I am delusional, but I hope like hell they reap what they sewed!
The current VPs are all afraid for their jobs - they have families just like everyone else. I was once told by my GM, VPs have the least job security of any role.
I know it’s easy to target them. I have no doubt that ADP will continue to cut leaderships where they are top heavy.
I just wish people would stop spreading the koolaid on social media about how wonderful the leaders, culture, and technology are at ADP.
There are sales leaders that have fewer than 5 direct reports- some as few as THREE. There is plenty of room for consolidation and cost savings. With the obvious reduction of field sales and growth of telesales, it doesn’t take a crystal ball to see where the headcount will be impacted. It’s going to continue for sure.
Carlos may be ADP's last CEO and may not be able to pass the torch to anyone else. Yes, certainly Carlos is ADP's worst CEO. But he will do well monetarily whether ADP survives or not. It must be nice to have that level of accountability (or lack thereof).
Carlos needs to pass the torch to someone else. He is the worst CEO in the history of ADP.
