Thread regarding Fred Meyer layoffs

Huge turnovers

I worked for Fred Meyer off and in for almost ten years.

I finally got fed up with being treated like dirt and found another job.

It's not a lot better, but is better than there.

There is a big turnover because the upper management treats the lower level employees like dirt and thwn wonder why people keep calling out.

I was nice wnough to give two weeks notice, but won't go back to Fred Meyer.

Its not worth it.

I was told that the meeting doesn't necessarily mean you are losing your position. I know of multiple people that had meetings to discuss what is going on and were told that their position wasn't being affected. I don't know what is still to come but it makes me reconsider wanting to move up any higher than where I an now as an assistant manager.

Fred Meyers D1 I got my call for a meeting on Thursday at the divisional office hard to imagine they have me coming out there to not get fired at this point. So far everyone who has had a meeting was terminated.

Fred Meyer has been forever changed when bought by Kroger. Fred G Meyer would be absolutely appalled at where his company has gone. It’s all about greed nothing else. Very disappointed. Prayers for all who have lost their jobs. God bless.
