Who was the Head of NA who was dropped? Ex Head of APAC still found a seat with a similar role. APAC has been largely propped up by Canberra by a great local operator (who I think has now retired)
But it isn’t transforming. The licensing model has changed, the quality has dropped and a vast amount of skill has left. That’s it. They have the same geriatrics showing an almost 3 year old unrealised ‘roadmap’. A good database but just a component of an overall solution.
Well 2nd Q wasn’t good so what's your explanation for they
In any transformation of the company, It takes time. Company is shifting from HW to SW based company. It's a whole mind shift that will take time to settle.

1st and 3rd quarters are not usually good. Also look at economy. dow is tanking
What made you think that the quarter was bad? Head of NA replaced, check. Head of APAC replaced check, Head of EMEA openly being interview for replacement, check. Key simple bug release delayed over 6 months, check. 2b dollar company loses 40% of stock value in 7 months, check.
Keep in mind all of this is happening in the hottest space of IT right now, big data.
As Toots and Maytals famously sang....

Oh pressure, oh yeah
Pressure's gonna drop on you
