Thread regarding Nestle layoffs

Nestle phone/email address

Most of my contact with my DSL has been through text or email. I'm not getting the info I need. BUT.. on our LDW (or shortly thereafter) we will lose our nestle phone number and email address. You will no longer be able to get that info (or it would be a big hassle). Everyone should forward to another email or print any important info there. I hope it's just a waste of our time.

Have Not read the layoff package in detail! If you have to keep your $package$ intact by giving
back your phone do so! BUT not sure what they are going to do with probable over 1,500 IPhones?
If someone quits before last day worked they probable would have to hand it back over?
Kelloggs gave us our IPhone when they went Direct/Warehouse!

I'm confused. I gave up my personal phone when I got the nestle phone. If I keep the nestle phone and phone number will all of my contacts and information still be there?

This happened to me. My last day with my past employer made me turn in my phone on my last day. It was something I didn't think about. There were many contacts and much information on it that I didn't have on my personal phone. I could certainly use those contacts and information now.

Our ASL and DSL said we can keep the phones. In the pocket however it states that the phones need to be returned or you forfeit your money. Mixed info once again. I for one will be handing my phone to my DSL and making him sign a statement that I did so.

I also think this is a good idea. The original poster should have been more clear in what he was trying to say. Nestle may allow us to keep the phones. But all the information on the phone is associated with the phone number. It will be like setting up a brand new phone. All of the information will be lost. I know that some of my co-workers gave up their personal phones and rely on the nestle phone. I will be backing up all my information just in case.

You get to keep the phones. Was told by my DSL you may keep the phone and have the option to keep the same number if you wish to do so. Ask your DSL they will explain how to do so. If you do not wish to keep the number, the plan will be canceled but phones are kept.

I think it is a good idea. The original poster may have been through something like this before.

To the original poster, you do realize there are contact numbers in your packet for various informational questions. I doubt they will shut down those phone lines on your last day. Just saying, read your packet before offering advice. There is a lot of information that will probably answer your questions.

What information do you think you would need from Nestle after your last day worked? If there is information the company needs you to have, they will MAIL it to you.
