Thread regarding ADP layoffs

Carlos and ADP are stuid for their National Employment Report!

Ever notice whenever ADP releases the "National Employment Report" it concocts, the stock tanks?

Carlos is an id–t for producing the stupid thing!

1) ADP DOES NOT get paid for it!
2) No-one, I repeat no-one, says "hey ADP is great because they produce that report, let's do business with them!"
3) It just harms the market, and harms ADP's own stock!
4) It is pretty meaningless, except for the purpose of causing emotional turmoil.
5) It costs way more to produce in salaries, than the zero they get for doing it!
6) Lastly, those of us at ADP know it is a hack!

That's right. If you have read my posts, I am always polite. Anger and animosity is not my style. Intellectual discussion, based on facts, is.

It is easy for me to be calm and rational. The reason being is that while I was laid off (not VERP) I was able to retire and my family income streams now exceed my ADP salary when I was employed by ADP. And I was one of the highly paid associates who was laid off because I earned too much. So as I said, it is easy to be calm and not angry at anyone since I am doing well financially. Actually, ADP did me a favor by laying me off since I no longer have to work in that sweatshop environment. If not laid off, I would still be there.

However, all ADPers have the right to express their views in any manner that they choose. If they are angry, they have that right and what they say is just as valid as someone who is calm, perhaps even more so.

So yes, I am calm and not angry at anyone, with plenty of time to post my views on this site and on others. I invite others to post and to continue to post here in whatever manner they wish. Truth is what is important, not the manner that it is presented, angry or not.

The poster doesn’t sound angry at all, some of the calmest thoughts I’ve read on this site in quite some time. If I had to guess a well respected VERP that harbors no animosity towards the company. Very refreshing.

Thank you for being polite. I'm sorry that you don't agree with most of the ADPers, both past and present, that post on this site. But I think that you are taking this site too seriously. This is just a site where ADPers, again both past and present, can comment on their experiences. This site isn't about changing world perspectives or having a major impact on how people think about ADP.

So then why are you so upset with the majority of postings on this site when this is such small potatoes? Perhaps because ADP's credibility has been impacted by the strange decisions taken by ADP's management team. This company now has serious problems as has been outlined by many ADPers here. A revolving door of green employees coming in and out the company. That is a serious problem just by itself. The lack of a strong knowledge base is another. Client retention problems is another. A lack of direction and a lurching around is another. Top management cashing in their ADP stocks in stages as though they are not confident in ADP's future is still another.

Yes, this really isn't about this small site but rather the information about ADP that is important. Smallness doesn't change the truth.

Their credibility is doing just fine. You can't measure credibility among the hundreds of millions of people in the world that are aware of ADP by looking at the comments on a site with a couple thousand views. That report is gold for ADP.

And I wouldn't classify most anything posted on this site as polite. Sorry you don't agree though. See, that was polite.

Thank you for your politeness (or lack thereof) for calling other posts stupid.

It is cheap advertising for ADP to do this, but with their lowered credibility, it may be time for them to do a quick retreat on this.

That report is such cheap advertising that it makes so much sense for them to do it. And, it's pretty accurate or the analysts wouldn't continue to use it. It can actually drive the stock market up or down. People playing the market aren't stupid. Some of the comments on here on the other hand.

ADP produces this report so that they can appear to be a leader and an "expert". They think that it enhances their credibility. It does not, given their other problems they are currently going through.

Curious, how is it a hack? Honest question

I 100% agree. The ADP National Employment Report is a joke. And you are right, every time they release that ADP stock tanks, and it usually has negative impacts on the market. It is seems to be only a delusional benefit they think they are providing/getting.
