In our modestly sized division, District 6 alone lost 6 store managers today
All of our coordinators have been demoted and/or laid off…
Mark my words, co-managers are next to get the axe…
Asking about criteria? Well, nobody knows – big stores, small, profitable, plus sales, etc. – nothing matters… Red store managers kept, top performers let go.
On top of everything HR is walking around reminding people that they have to stay silent.
After 19 years of service, I know I will be lay off tomorrow. It’s all about your relationship with your Dm and his recommendation. He is given a target to reach and if you are not in his circle you will be out. How in the hell are you going to run a $900 k store with 2 ASM? It’s a struggle with 3. Sounds like 6 days work week!

I don't know about other divisions, but here at KMA they rotate co's and store managers all the time - it's not even funny.
I've been at my store for 10 years and have had 10 store managers and over 15 co's, some repeats.
So, Nothing can surprise me any more.
But yet they are keeping a ceo that lies to the share holders about having more hours in stores than last year! What dream you living Rodney?? There are barely enough hours to serve the customers and keep shelves stocked. You are the main problem and the reason Walmart will take us out.
