Thread regarding Sears layoffs

So here we are in October 2019. End is near. #gone

Wish you remaining folks were in a better situation. Sad to see it end this way.
Hope they shut this operation down soon while the job pickings are still good in this country.

Sears isn't closing. Sears is changing.

Haters will be here in 2025 talking about the imminent closure of Sears. Guaranteed.

They've been wrong for decades. No reason to change now, right?

Sears went away. Sears Holdings has ceased to exist except as a vehicle for debt that's getting cancelled and the creditors are fighting for the sc-aps. Fact. The corpse was sold off to another company, Transform, which just happened to be Eddie through his lying and cheating machinations, just like Circuit City was bought off and sold to TigerDirect or whoever owns them now, and uses the Circuit City name to run a website today. "Sears" is in the same situation, the corpse of which is being liquidated in front of our eyes, despite Eddie's lies to Judge Drain.

Hater trolls are gonna hate.

Every year for years, they say Sears and Kmart are going away.

Every year, Sears and Kmart are still here. But the troll posts are long-gone.

A beloved icon of retail doesn't just disappear because you hate the CEO and his necessary strategy to drive transformation to adapt to a new retail paradigm!

Eddie can't change the fact that 1,000s of stores closed under HIS belt. And stores will continue to close under HIS belt. #Fact.

Place that in your "Blah blah blah" file. And I hope Eddie does not receive the NOLs.

Companies are now hiring for the holiday season. Sears/Kmart employees should not wait until their stores are closed. It would be too late to look for work during the holiday seasons.
