The fix is to order new planes, the old ones are out of warranty!
I wish every employee at every level would read AD’s
They would then have a greater appreciation for everyone responsible
in their adherence to the build plan.
This might even reduce the push by leadership and management
To reduce Takt time at any cost.
But first leadership and management would have read the AD’s
I’m sure some have, just as I’m sure, it’s a few.
I have tried getting people to read some of them.
The response more often than not -

It’s your job there referencing dummy,
Wouldn’t you like to find out what went wrong?
Seven years after you pushed the ship out the door.
Something’s are just unknowable until years in service,
while other issues are failures in adherence to the process.
Got a new Takt time we have to meet!

Have you EVER worked around aircraft? Go to the FAA website and look at ADs. There are issues every month that are serious enough to generate ADs, many of them structural.
It's not uncommon to find things, now they need a fix.
