Was in the Renton, WA store on Saturday / it was a tomb. A parking lot that, at that time of the day, should have been packed, had only a few cars in it. Was in there just to get a 4 or 5 port network hub / there weren't any. Best Buy ha lots of them. I don't thing Fry's is long for this world.

Thx for the geekwire article link. Best part was the guy in the Bullets jersey saying, "A Fry’s customer for about five years, he wasn’t looking for anything specific, and it was his opinion that the store shelves were so bare because stuff is selling so well." This man would probably like to be informed about the availability of a nice bridge in a certain NYC borough for a great price!
Also chuckled at, "A manager was too busy to talk to a reporter, and in a call to the store later, I was told the manager was at lunch." Apparently, Amazon ate Fry's lunch. Please call back later.

When over-the-air TV has both gone HD and nearly died, Fry's electronics still carries 75-ohm coax to 300-ohm twinlead converters, just in case you need to hook up a TV from 1978
