I’m Embarrassed at how ridiculous Oxy is looking at their lack of planning and execution in absorbing APC. The majority of APC staff are spending their days playing games on their cell phone while incompetent Oxy leadership and HR continue to bungle this integration with no communication on whether they have a job or not.

It isn’t bungling. It’s intention. HR likes to drag things out and make us as miserable as possible for as long as possible.
Oxy displays a new level of incompetence each day.
Its Oxy, not some respectable, professional company wit ha solid track record and integrity. Put it in to perspective for gods sake.
That shows that many jobs are not needed at least for a while.
Time is money. It was not that long ago Oxy said they needed to pay the debt. They should, could, would have read the contract and by now release the people they did not need.
Who would know? Oxy hasn’t hardly sent anyone in management out to the woodlands. I will keep watching Netflix until ....

The one thing I’d disagree with you on is the cellphone games. I’ve been too busy rewatching Game of Thrones at work to play any games myself. It’s amazing how it’s only been about 4 months since the finale and yet here again I find myself utterly immersed (almost as if for the first time) in the fantastical world of Westeros.
