I don't understand why they have to have so many small layoffs all the time lately instead of just getting it over with at once? What is the point? To torture us additionally for no apparent reason?
Morale in the office is plummeting and its affecting productivity. This is not good for us or the company.
Seriously, just get it over with already!
I just saw one at my location this week, I know that some mgrs and hr were making calls to offsite employees as well.
So yes, smaller the numbers, the less work and time spent making people hate life.
I thinks there's also less admin and legal hassle for hr doing small layoffs
It is a trend in global companies to do small layoffs because the execs believe it's less stressful for employees as it doesn't make such a big wave of change. "nothing to see here, just a few layoffs, business as usual".
Morale is shocking at the moment. Management are hiding, what are we supposed to think?
