Thread regarding Staples Inc. layoffs

Are KAMS and TAMS really leading?

What do you see out of the Key Account Managers and Territory Account Leads? If you oversee a line of business are they helping you to grow the business through engagement or just expecting you to do it for them with sporadic updates to report to their boss? New business model changing old habits or same old mediocre model where they blame others for not hitting their budget?

The downfall of NAD is sales. The way Sales is trying to sell is gone. Making 100 calls a day. Popping into locations of clients and potential clients. Give me a break. When was the last time you got an email or a pop in from an Amazon sales rep. Oh I know NEVER.

@Gyns+11aKLHHS...you are so spot on. New comp plan is just a means to thin the herd. SLT was probably over hours with perfect storm of circumstances that COVID19 created.

What a sh#t bag of a company!!!

There is no big commission. Yes, some got salary raises but others got salary decreases or took the payout. Their commission is either the same or less than it was, when they were AC’s or SAL’s and they’re doing twice as much work. Sad but I knew it would happened.

Every-time Staples tells you new commission, so that you can make more money, Nah ah, it’s cause you’ve figured out, how to make more and now we must reduce it. #bringbackshira

These account managers are fools. They no nothing about the company or any of its programs. All they can do is pass information to others on their team that close the deal. Yet they get the big commission.
