I wish this was true but I don't want to get too excited just yet. Can anybody confirm this?

Lot of things this company could change and perhaps will change under this new LT. Noticed in the past several years that people getting promoted often have little to no understanding on the fundamentals which they are managing. Than just to turn out they get rewarded again with another promotion! They are promoting individuals too fast and not giving a person time to learn. For example - make a person managing a team tickets yet the person managing them have no idea what CTI to use and how to create one.
Also there are too many handoffs throughout the company especially when there is an issue.
An tactic is to pass the buck. Literally been days when I'm thinking who will charge at me with an issues.
I get excited myself. Working at SunGard for 20 yrs, the prospect of getting laid off by end of year is exciting in of itself regardless if SG is paying severance or not. I'd much rather be unemployed and looking to join an organization that cares about its customers vs. continuing to work for a company that oversells its services and could care less whether or not it can deliver said services.
SunGard sold out 10 yrs ago. Ten yrs ago SunGard had dedicated support services and cared about customer care. But SunGard decided taking care of customers is too expensive. So, SunGard decided to outsource everything and focus on the bottomline. On the one hand, as long as SG signs on new customers, this works. Not seeing it happen. SunGard is running on an early 00's model that no longer applies. The gig is up.

Alix likely gone. Up to the LT to bicker about the recommendations among themselves and then do nothing about it. After blaming each other, and pointing fingers. Ya know Sales can't sell anything because of that c-appy q2c system and Product gives them nothing to sell..... kind of nonsense. As if a new 5 million dollar quoting system would make any difference. Sometime we really fail to see the big picture here.
