Doesn’t describe me at all. One of the most open minded people you could ever know. Sorry speaking the truth is causing you such a negative reaction. Sounds like someone hit a nerve.
I bet you attend training, complain about it for 2-3 weeks before you attend, sit down at your table, sigh heavily, don't open your note pad and fold your arms. Do everyone a favor and quit. No place for closed minded people who are unwilling to learn something new. Too easy (and common) to find all the reasons you can't do something, or why it can't work. Why not strive to be a positive influence and hell, learn something along the way.
An Ageist comment that’s great. Being over 40 you would realize how many sales training programs have been repurposed and repackaged. There is nothing transformative about this training. Seen it, heard it, trained it, and sold that way for many years. Quite successfully.
Everyone in this thread is likely 45+ and use to milk runs and just showing up as a way to sell. You know everything and can't possibly be open minded to learn new skills.
Time to learn something new you dino's .....the world of selling has changed. Heaven forbid you understand your customer you are trying to sell to.

The trainers were sub par account managers. They couldn't sell water in the dessert. Somehow they kissed the right butt.
It certainly is not earth breaking or transformational and the trainers that are conducting the training are sub par at best. More money invested foolishly but will help to get another job. Thanks Staples.
